uneventful
the weather is finally changing and i LOVE it. it is so nice to start opening windows and feeling a cool breeze. it also makes me much more active. this weekend was packed with kid things. little lava had his pre-k school party. big lava had his fourth grade back to school party. we also hit the zoo and big lava had a soccer game.

it is often sad to watch big lava play sports. it is just not his thing. he is not competitive, aggressive or in any way athletic...but he tries and he is happy which is all that really matters. he also runs like a girl. truly, i believe the boy is gay. not that i care but there are times it really makes me giggle. how he runs, his interests, his mannerisms...i could be wrong - but - i don't think i am.

i do not fit in with these snobby school moms who have nothing to talk about but their hair extensions. i have learned to take my camera to these functions and just walk around snapping pictures...that way i really do not have to talk to any of them. i just overhear their conversations. i doubt they would find me spending days at rape/kidnapping trials dirty and disgusting and very beneath them.

doc brought home some information about being on some committee of doctors wives that do fund raising shit at the hospital. talk about a group i really would not fit into. i did think about joining their book club just so i could throw out some incredibly inappropriate comments about MY analysis of their chosen books.

marriage wise things have been going smoothly. doc is on call tonight so i have an evening to myself. i enjoy this time alone. just watching 'house' and writing this entry. can't wait until the next 'mad men.'

nothing really exciting is going on right now. normal life/family/kid things. let's hope it stays that way.
